Mike Cunningham, CPA - Retired
As co-founder of hch+t, Mike has over 45 years of tax and accounting experience. Mike's commitment to continuing education has kept the firm at the forefront of the profession. Mike is a forward thinker and planner and continually seeks best practices to deploy within the firm for the benefit of our clients.
Deeply committed to his profession, Mike is a respected certified public accountant with extensive experience in service industries and the real estate development business.
Mike earned a BBA in accounting with high honors from Texas Tech University in 1974 and his CPA certificate in 1976. Mike and his wife, Alice, have made Lubbock their home for 45 years. Mike and Alice are active members of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where both serve as elders. Mike teaches an adult Sunday School class at Westminster. Mike and Alice have two children and four grandchildren.
Mike has served on the board of directors and as president of the board of directors of many local charitable organizations. Currently, Mike is a member of the board of directors of American Bank of Commerce, where he serves as a member of the director's loan committee and as a member of the audit committee. Mike is a member of the Covenant Medical Center board of directors.
Mike retired from active practice on December 31, 2019.
